Job summary

YMP REM is seeking a Property Manager to oversee operations for a multifamily community, including leasing, maintenance, budget planning, and rent collection. You will drive occupancy, manage staff, and coordinate with ownership to meet financial targets.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with building rules and safety procedures while delivering excellent resident service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience, including managing a multifamily community of 150+ units.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred, with commensurate work experience also taken into account.
• Experience with Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher process and tenant certifications.
• Demonstrated success in increasing revenue and decreasing delinquency at the property level.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget generation, monthly variance reporting, and move-ins/move-outs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly inspections.
• Oversee a Maintenance Supervisor and tenant work orders; conduct preventative maintenance.
• Manage day-to-day property operations, including 24/7 emergency response.
• Assist Leasing Representatives to maintain high occupancy and tenant retention.
• Read and interpret legal documents and contract service agreements; communicate with stakeholders.
