Job summary

Eastern Connecticut Housing Opportunities (ECHO) seeks an experienced Property Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple residential communities in Southeastern CT.

The role focuses on leasing, resident relations, and regulatory compliance, with strong emphasis on occupancy, customer service, and accurate records. This full-time, on-site position requires travel between properties and experience in affordable housing.

Qualifications

• Possession of, or the ability to obtain, at least one affordable housing certification such as COS, TCS, LIHTC EIV, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, or similar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing activities, waitlist management, applicant screening, move-ins, lease renewals, and resident retention efforts.
• Monitor occupancy trends and support strategies to achieve and maintain occupancy goals.
• Coordinate regular property inspections and maintain properties to ECHO standards.
• Serve as primary contact for residents and prospective residents.
• Respond promptly to resident questions, concerns, and complaints.
