Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Houston, TX. This role performs technical and mechanical work to ensure building cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality across property grounds and common areas.

Essential duties include completing work orders and preventative maintenance, completing the make-ready process for vacant apartments, managing inventory, documenting tasks, and supporting cost-control efforts.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications required (Type 1 and II or Universal).
• All state and local certification requirements must be met.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate facility grounds equipment (golf cart).

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property per policies and safety standards.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections, punch lists, and vendor coordination.
• Track inventory, access materials, and notify the maintenance supervisor for re-ordering.
• Document work orders timely and accurately for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning, painting curbs, and related tasks as needed.
• Support cost control by repairing parts when feasible rather than replacing components.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license
