Job summary

Worcester Communities is seeking a meticulous Maintenance Technician I to ensure the property operates smoothly and efficiently. You’ll perform scheduled tasks, repairs, and prepare apartments to market-ready condition while maintaining safety and curb appeal for our community.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of using basic hand tools; 1+ year of maintenance experience is preferred. MS Office, Google Workspace, and Entrata skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance; reliable vehicle required.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic hand tools and ability to use general maintenance equipment.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Google Business Suite, Entrata Property Management Software.

Responsibilities

• Execute Maintenance Tasks: Complete service requests and repairs thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Ensure Operational Efficiency: Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area; monitor inventory.
• Prepare Apartments: Restore apartments to 'market ready' status including appliance repair and painting.
• Uphold Safety and Standards: Adhere to safety programs and inspect grounds/buildings to minimize liabilities.
• Maintain Curb Appeal: Assist in daily exterior cleanup to ensure excellent curb appeal.
