Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician in Smyrna, TN to oversee daily upkeep of the property and respond to maintenance requests. You will monitor, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment, and live on site for the term of employment.

You will also serve as the Property Attendant one or two days per week as directed by leadership. Must comply with guest agreements and safety policies while delivering reliable, hands-on maintenance support.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff
• Ability to follow instructions efficiently and communicate clearly
• Ability to manage multiple activities in stressful situations

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and clean sidewalks, replace or repair as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel property and equipment
• Repair walls, appliances, furniture, carpet, cabinets in vacant rooms
• Conduct maintenance in guest rooms on a scheduled basis
• Respond to service requests and emergency calls promptly
• Maintain safety and security standards on property
