Job summary

Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. seeks an On-Site Assistant Community Manager for Palmera Apartments in Columbia, SC. You will support the Community Manager in daily property operations, including leasing, rent processing, and resident relations.

Responsibilities include updating accounting records, processing notices, coordinating with maintenance, and assisting with marketing to improve resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2 years of LIHTC, HUD and Section 8 experience (required).
• 1-year experience in property management (required).
• 1-year experience with Yardi or Yardi Voyager (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in daily property operations.
• Update rents, deposits, and other monies; verify against leases.
• Process notices (late payments, evictions, returned checks) and coordinate with residents.
• Greet prospects, show the community, and assist with outside marketing as needed.
• Maintain on-site accounting in the property system (leases, move-ins/outs, traffic).
