Job summary

Atlantic-Housing's Palmera Apartments in Columbia, SC seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager and ensure daily operations run smoothly. You will handle rents, deposits, move-ins/outs, reporting, and lease paperwork while upholding Fair Housing and company policies.

Responsibilities include leasing, marketing, notice-to-vacate follow-ups, on-site inspections, and coordinating with maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2 years LIHTC, HUD and Section 8 experience required.
• 1 year property management experience required.
• 1 year Yardi Voyager experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in daily property operations.
• Promptly update rents, deposits, and other monies; verify accuracy.
• Prepare and file all lease documentation and manage move-ins/outs.
• Maintain on-site accounting system for leases, notices, and traffic.
• Greet prospective clients, show the community, and assist with marketing.
• Respond to notices to vacate and attempt renewals.
• Coordinate with maintenance to handle service requests and follow up.
