Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC's side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance and audits, qualify vendors, and report quality performance to project leadership.

You will lead a team to review QC plans, ITPs, and inspector qualifications, own nonconformance and corrective actions, and ensure records will stand up at turnover. A strong background in owner-side programs is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification; ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
