Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects for the owner or EPC. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance and audit programs, qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors, and report quality performance to the project manager and the owner's quality organization.

Responsibilities include leading audits, reviewing QC plans and ITPs, owning nonconformance, and delivering timely quality metrics.

Qualifications

6+ years of quality experience on construction or industrial capital projects.
2+ years leading a project quality program.
ISO 9001 lead auditor or internal auditor certification.
ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute and enforce them.

Responsibilities

Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
