Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance and audit programs for contractors and suppliers, qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors, and report quality performance to the project manager and owner's quality organization.

You will lead audits, review QC plans and ITPs, manage nonconformance and corrective actions, and drive lessons learned.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification preferred; ASQ certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes; Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership.
