Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project from the owner's or EPC's side, including writing the project quality plan and setting the surveillance program. You will ensure contractor and supplier quality aligns with the plan and that records will withstand turnover.

You will lead audits, qualify vendors, review QC plans and inspector qualifications, and report metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality

Qualifications

• 6+ years of quality experience on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can execute and enforce.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and supplier/contractor quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and owner's quality org.
