Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, set the surveillance and audit program for contractors and suppliers, and qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors.

You will report quality performance to the project manager and the owner's quality organization, own the nonconformance and corrective-action processes, and drive lessons learned to ensure turnover

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects, including 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification is required or strongly preferred.
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE certification is preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute and enforce.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
