Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC side, drafting the project quality plan, and setting the surveillance and audit program for contractors and suppliers. You will qualify vendors, review QC plans, and report quality performance to the project manager and the owner's quality organization.

Responsibilities include planning and leading surveillance and audits, owning nonconformance and corrective actions,

Qualifications

6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects
2+ years leading a project quality program
ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification
ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred
Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work
Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute, and to enforce them

Responsibilities

Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements
Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers
Qualify vendors and inspection agencies
Review/accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications
Own the project nonconformance, corrective action, and lessons learned processes
Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and owner's quality organization
