GROB Systems, Inc in Bluffton, OH is seeking an On-Site Project Manager to coordinate equipment installation projects at customer sites. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical/controls aptitude, with deep knowledge of prints and schematics, and periodic travel for machine installations.

You will lead GROB technicians, manage installation activities, track budgets, and maintain excellent customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Experience reading drawings and schematics.
• CNC machining experience preferred.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.

This position is responsible for the project coordination of equipment installations at customer sites. The position requires strong mechanical and/or electrical/controls aptitude, an in-depth knowledge of prints and schematics, and advanced skills in metal cutting technology is a plus. This position may require periodic travel during machine installations (mostly domestic, some international) where you will interface with customers directly. The On-Site Project Manager is responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships as well as acting as a project leader for GROB technicians.

• Responsible for supporting the realization of new projects
• Coordinating installation activities on equipment delivered from the GROB Group
• Direct and assist customers on the installation, start-up and operation of equipment
• Set-up and track project budgets
• Provide offsite team leadership at customer sites
• Facilitate open issue closure and site acceptance tests.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Associate’s degree preferred in Industrial/Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology or relevant experience in machine tool industry
• Understanding of drawings, schematics and troubleshooting
• Previous CNC machining experience preferred
