Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to work on-site within the Project Management Team, handling contract setup, submittals, bid package assistance, change orders, and scheduling. Strong communication and client service skills are essential as the team collaborates on diverse projects.

Eligible candidates must have 1–3 years of experience in documentation, reading construction plans, and project closeout, plus a Bachelor’s Degree in CM/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience creating documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence.
• 1–3 years reading and understanding construction plans and the technical specifications.
• 1–3 years experience with project close out.
• Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering, or similar, or 8 years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• On-site Project Engineer supports contract setup, submittals, and bid package process.
• Assist with change orders and project scheduling.
• Coordinate with the Project Management Team and clients.
