Job summary

Skanska in the United States is seeking a Project Engineer to join the on-site Project Management Team. You will manage contract setup, submittals, and assist with bid packages, change orders, and scheduling with a flexible, team-focused approach.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience with RFIs, plan reviews, and project close-out, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent (or 8 years of related experience).

Qualifications

• 1-3 years creating RFIs and client correspondence per contracts.
• 1-3 years reading construction plans and specs; outline submission requirements.
• 1-3 years experience with project close out.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar or 8 years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract setup, submittals, and change orders on site.
• Assist with bid package process and project scheduling.
• Coordinate with clients and project team to ensure effective communication.
