Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our on-site Project Management Team. You will support contract setup, submittals, bid package processes, change orders, and scheduling with a collaborative, client-focused approach.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years of experience in documentation, reading drawings, and project closeout, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering. Sponsorship is not offered at this time.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience creating documentation such as RFIs, and client correspondence on issues related to the notification provisions in contracts.
• 0-3 years of reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings.
• 0-3 years expereince with project close out.
• Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering, or similar or 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Currently, the company is not considering applicants for this position who now or in the future require employment sponsorship by the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contract setup, submittals, and the bid package process.
• Handle change orders and assist with scheduling of the project.
• Support a flexible, team-oriented environment with strong communication and client service.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Team; adapt to project size and complexity.
