Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a Project Engineer to join our heavy civil construction team in the Richmond region. You will work with the Project Team to plan and support completion of assigned projects, ensure deadlines are met, and manage documentation in CMiC.

On-site position at regional office with training provided. Requirements include a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, OSHA 30-hour, FE preferred, and 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans and schedules with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and technical information for the team and vendors.
• Coordinate delivery of permanent materials with Purchasing.
• Manage the RFI and submittal process with CMiC project control logs.
• Process owner billings and project accounting tasks.
• Assist Project Manager with Change Orders and related documentation.
• Monitor safety and maintain project safety files; review schedule for safety needs.
