Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. in the Mid-Atlantic region seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects onsite from our regional office. You will drive safety, schedule, and budget while collaborating with a talented team to deliver excellence on every project.

This role is on-site and requires strong leadership and communication to coordinate field operations. The position requires a Civil Engineering related degree, 5+ years of construction experience with supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related major.
• Min 5 years of construction experience with at least 1 year in supervisory roles.
• FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) or PE certification desirable.
• OSHA 30-hour training required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate heavy civil construction projects to meet safety, schedule and budget goals.
• Develop plans and schedules with the Superintendent and project team and determine means/methods to meet project goals.
• Ensure all work and materials meet Allan Myers standards and contractual specs.
• Direct and coordinate project personnel to progress on schedule and within budget.
• Manage project cost, profitability, and monthly P&L statements.
• Promote teamwork, communication and client satisfaction across the team.
• Implement and monitor the Allan Myers Safety Program and subcontractor compliance.
• Supervise Superintendents, Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, Field Engineers, and Project Administrators.
