Job summary

Eastern DataComm LLC in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Project Coordinator to keep installation projects organized from sale to closeout. You will work with Project Managers, Sales, Purchasing, the Warehouse, and field technicians to ensure equipment, people, and paperwork arrive on time, often around academic calendars and summer windows.

This in-person role requires 2+ years coordinating low-voltage or IT projects, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel/Outlook.

Qualifications

2+ years of project coordination experience in related fields.
Strong organization and multitasking across multiple projects.
Clear, professional communication with customers, field staff and vendors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Ability to read basic floor plans and project drawings.
Valid driver's license for site visits.

Responsibilities

Set up new projects after sales handoff with files, BOMs, schedules, and kickoff meetings.
Schedule technicians and subcontractors across active jobs and coordinate site access.
Order equipment, track lead times, and stage materials for each job.
Prepare submittals, permits, certificates of insurance, and customer documentation.
Track change orders, RFIs, and punch lists; keep project records current.
Coordinate license activations and cloud platform registrations at handoff.
Send regular status updates to Project Managers and customers.
