EPITEC is seeking a Production Supervisor in Chicago to lead hourly production staff in a fast-paced environment. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while building a high-performing team.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong decision-making, and the ability to manage competing priorities with effective communication and collaboration across employees, management, suppliers, and union reps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS diploma with relevant experience.
• 3–7+ years in supervisory, manufacturing, military, or related roles.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including overtime.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead hourly employees to meet production, safety, and quality targets.
• Champion workplace safety and ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitor performance and address production, quality, attendance issues.
• Prioritize tasks and allocate staffing for efficiency.
• Identify root causes and implement timely solutions.
• Use data to reduce downtime and drive continuous improvement.
• Track employee time and attendance accurately.
• Foster a safe, accountable, respectful work environment.
• Coach and develop staff using servant leadership.
• Resolve conflicts through active listening and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with union reps, management, and suppliers.
• Maintain high quality and seek productivity improvements.
