Job summary

CIVC Montana in Belgrade, Montana, seeks a Production & Quality Coordinator for an on-site day shift. The role ensures orders are on track, purity tests are performed to SOP, and records are kept precise as products move from production to dispatch.

You're on the floor as needed, balancing hands-on coordination with lab-style precision. The position offers $32–$38 per hour plus benefits, reflecting growth in a gluten-free, organic milling operation.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in food businesses, including food safety and production.
• Ability to follow written SOPs, checklists, and documentation exactly.
• Food safety training sufficient to understand GMP expectations and testing handoffs.
• Able to be the on-site PCQI food safety contact; training provided if needed.
• Comfortable helping on the production floor when orders need it.
• Helpful familiarity with MS 365, Acctivate, Cin7, or similar systems (not required).

Responsibilities

• Keep production and orders on track, updating daily production/order lists and ensuring readiness of ingredients, packaging, labels, pallets, and paperwork.
• Run gluten and glyphosate testing to procedure; pull and label samples, record lot numbers and dates, and notify the Plant Manager of results.
• Identify and prepare finished-product samples for outside labs and file COAs as required.
• Maintain accurate records and daily reports in Acctivate, delivering a clear status update to the Plant Manager each day.
• Escalate issues early with what happened, risks, actions taken, and what is needed to prevent delays.
