Job summary

Family Tree Farms, Inc. seeks an Outside Warehouse Liaison / QC to represent us at a third-party warehouse, performing quality control and operational support for blueberries and blackberries.

You will inspect products, document findings, and communicate issues to the appropriate FTF team members. You will monitor inbound transfers, assist with on-site verification, and oversee QC during repacking and other activities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in fresh produce, quality control, warehouse operations, agriculture, receiving, packing, or a related environment is preferred but not required.
• Experience with blueberries, blackberries, or other fresh berries is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of fresh produce using Family Tree Farms standards and inspection procedures.
• Evaluate product for quality, condition, size, appearance, temperature, packaging condition, and other quality characteristics.
• Document inspections in the designated FTF QC application with measurements, observations, photos, and supporting information.
• Promptly communicate significant quality concerns and recommend on-site action when appropriate.
• Monitor inbound transfers from Mexico, coordinate with warehouse receiving, and be present for key arrivals.
• Provide QC oversight during repacking or reconditioning activities as assigned.
• Observe warehouse activities and communicate operational concerns or deviations from expected processes.
• Identify recurring quality or operational issues and communicate improvements to the team.
• Assist remote FTF teams with verification of product, quantities, and inventory questions.
