L&M is seeking a Quality Assurance & Inventory Control Specialist based in the Raleigh market warehouse (onsite). You will ensure inbound produce meets USDA quality standards, maintain accurate inventory and packaging records, and collaborate with Procurement, Production and Sales to address quality concerns and support operations.

The role emphasizes inspecting produce, tracking inventory, and ensuring materials meet production demand while adhering to safety and program procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification required; training provided after hire.
• Experience in the produce industry preferred.
• Understanding of USDA standards preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Inspects inbound produce to verify USDA compliance.
• Identify quality defects, product deterioration, temperature deviations, and other concerns, and document findings.
• Identifies defects and completes quality inspection reports.
• Track and maintain accurate inventory levels for produce, packaging materials, and related supplies.
• Communicate quality concerns and inventory issues to Procurement, Production, Sales, and Operations teams.
• Work with Production to ensure adequate product and packaging inventory to meet production schedules.
• Support compliance with Company policies and standards, including food safety, worker safety, QA, and SOPs.
