Job summary

SkyChefs is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator / Buyer in Philadelphia to source and develop the supply chain for specified categories, while providing tactical procurement support for non‑strategic material changes at SkyChefs Customer Service Centers.

You will collaborate with service centers to determine sourcing needs, monitor vendor performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities through standardization and supplier development in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• One to three years purchasing or related field experience required.
• Bachelor degree preferred in Purchasing or Supply Chain management.
• Working knowledge of SAP or ARIBA preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sourcing and development of supply chain for specified categories.
• Provide tactical procurement support for product line changes of non‑strategic materials.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Centers to determine current and future sourcing needs.
• Monitor vendor performance and guide alternatives to meet price and spec targets.
• Drive cost reductions through standardization and supplier development.
