Job summary

Skyline Search Partners is seeking an Experienced Buyer / Supply Chain Analyst for its North American materials team at a global manufacturing client. You will own an assigned supplier portfolio, manage the full purchasing cycle, place and confirm POs, monitor material availability, and expedite critical components to keep production running smoothly.

This role emphasizes building supplier relationships, resolving discrepancies, collaborating with planners, and maintaining ERP data.

Qualifications

Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply-chain analysis.
Experience managing purchase orders and working with suppliers.
Strong follow-through and sense of urgency.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities.
Onsite work in Golden Valley with early start and strong communication.

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned portfolio of approximately 20–50 suppliers.
Create, place, and confirm purchase orders.
Monitor inventory levels and material requirements.
Identify potential shortages and expedite critical materials.
Communicate directly with suppliers regarding delivery and performance issues.
Resolve invoice and purchase-order discrepancies.
Coordinate returns and RMAs with vendors.
Partner with planners to understand production schedules and build requirements.
Escalate supplier constraints and develop solutions to protect production.
Support material availability across North American locations.
Maintain purchasing and supplier information in the ERP system.
