Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Process Technician for an on-site role in Fremont, CA. The position reports to the Factory Engineering Director and involves evening/weekend coverage as needed.

You will support multiple process areas in fuel cell manufacturing, ensuring quality, safety, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma with 4+ years in manufacturing, hands-on experience with thin-film processes and high-precision equipment, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in thin-film processes is required.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting high-precision machinery.
• Strong attention to detail with safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide off-shift coverage for process engineering activities across multiple areas of fuel cell manufacturing.
• Respond to production line issues, determine root cause, adjust parameters, and document actions.
• Coordinate containment and countermeasure activities during abnormal events in a cross-functional setting.
• Communicate clearly and send daily reports to the team.
