Matrix Design Group LLC is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to evaluate and optimize business processes across multiple departments at our Newburgh, IN office. This role focuses on identifying risks, enhancing controls, supporting compliance, and developing scalable processes for growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in business process analysis, strong communication, and hands-on experience with governance, audit support, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years in business process analysis.
• Audit and controls experience preferred.
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Office products and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document current-state business processes and workflows.
• Evaluate processes to identify risks across operational, financial, and compliance domains.
• Recommend control enhancements to mitigate risks.
• Maintain process libraries and documentation repositories.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
• Create reports and dashboards to support decision-making and performance measurement.
• Monitor KPIs and business metrics for improvements.
• Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for standardization and scale.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methods.
• Analyze workflow performance and propose efficiency gains.
• Collect and analyze data to measure impact of enhancements.
• Create training materials and assist with change management.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and tech trends.
