Job summary

XNRGY Climate Systems is hiring a Process Engineer on-site in Mesa, AZ, to drive continuous improvement and sustainment of manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost while optimizing assembly and production lines.

You will own PFMEA, CapEx planning, and MES work instructions, supporting NPI and production readiness with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Proven Design for Manufacturing and New Product Introduction experience.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with CAD and design/simulation software.
• Experience with Change management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop, optimize, and sustain assembly and manufacturing processes with a focus on ergonomics, efficiency, and quality.
• Perform line balancing and capacity analysis to support takt time and production targets.
• Create, maintain, and deploy MES work instructions with quality checkpoints and traceability.
• Own tooling, fixtures, and equipment standards including hand and power tools and major production equipment.
• Design and optimize factory layouts, material flow, and error-proofing solutions.
• Lead PFMEA development and maintain control plans.
• Plan and execute CapEx projects with vendors to support volume ramps and optimization.
• Support NPI, prototypes, and production readiness through cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide technical documentation, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Analyze production performance data and lead improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and support process engineers and production teams.
