An overview of your responsibilities!
  • Lead MES strategy and implementation, including configuration, integration, and optimization of MES workflows for assembly, fabrication, and joining operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define MES requirements, ensure process standardization, and support New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Integrate MES with automation and digital manufacturing tools, including PLCs, robotics, sensors, and real-time data tracking systems.
  • Develop and maintain MES documentation, such as process workflows, digital work instructions, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting standards.
  • Oversee MES validation, commissioning, and continuous improvement, ensuring accurate production data, process reliability, and compliance with operational and quality standards.
  • Coach and mentor production and engineering teams on MES usage, process adherence, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive data analysis and process insights leveraging MES data to identify bottlenecks, improve throughput, and enhance product quality.
What you'll need, among other things!
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Software, or Systems Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 10+ years in manufacturing engineering and MES implementation, with experience in complex, custom, or high-precision environments (e.g., HVAC, aerospace, automotive, or industrial equipment).
  • Served as technical lead for Ignition platform design, development, and deployment.
