Job summary

XNRGY Climate Systems, a leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing, seeks a skilled Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes on site in Mesa, AZ. You’ll work across Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering on continuous improvement to boost safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include line balancing, MES instruction development, tooling ownership, and CapEx project execution, with cross-functional collaboration for NPI and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop, optimize, and sustain assembly and manufacturing processes with focus on ergonomics, efficiency, and quality.
• Perform line balancing and capacity analysis using standard time data to support takt time and production targets.
• Create, maintain, and deploy MES work instructions, including quality checkpoints, traceability, and torque/parameter recording.
• Own tooling, fixtures, and equipment standards, including specifications for hand tools, power tools, and major production equipment.
• Design and optimize factory layouts, material flow, and error-proofing (poka-yoke) solutions, prioritizing design-based prevention.
• Lead PFMEA development and maintain associated control plans.
• Plan and execute CapEx projects and collaborate with equipment vendors to support volume ramps and process optimization.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), prototypes, and production readiness through cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide technical documentation, failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
• Analyze production performance data and lead improvement initiatives to meet output, quality, and safety goals.
• Mentor and support process engineers and production teams through technical leadership and training.
