Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and complete less complex repairs to generators and components at customer sites in Henderson, CO. The role offers sign-on bonus, relocation support, and competitive pay and benefits.

You will perform maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools, maintain service records, and stay current with Cummins products and safety policies. A valid license and DOT considerations apply, with on-site work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
• High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
• Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
• Basic Diesel Engine experience.
• Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
• Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation.
• A current valid license is required for this role.
• This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
• This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• 3 years driving experience
• This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
• Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
• This roll is subject to Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) drug testing pre-employment and random drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug testing.
