Job summary
Blue United Sourcing LLC is partnering with a global manufacturing leader to identify a Manufacturing Controls Engineer (Level 1) for an on-site Garland, TX facility. The role combines hands-on plant support with capital-project planning and continuous improvement initiatives to support a large, expanding operation.

Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of hands-on experience supporting industrial plant operations.
- Formal training in or experience implementing PLCs and/or HMIs.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in engineering.
- Experience troubleshooting controls, hardware, or process issues in manufacturing environments.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Utilize PLC and HMI knowledge to optimize plant control and quality systems.
- Provide hands-on controls and troubleshooting support for daily manufacturing operations.
- Plan and execute capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze plant processes and design improvements to reduce costs and cycle times.
- Troubleshoot hardware, controls, and process-related issues.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.
- Identify training needs and develop standard operating procedures.
