Job summary
Blue United Sourcing LLC is hiring a Manufacturing Controls Engineer (Level 1) for our Garland, Texas facility. Role involves 40% plant-floor support and 60% office/project work, troubleshooting controls, hardware, and processes while contributing to capital projects and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hands-on industrial experience with PLCs/HMI and formal training or equivalent work experience. On-site, full-time W2 employment with competitive compensation.
Qualifications
- Experience implementing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and HMIs.
- Hands-on experience supporting industrial plant operations and troubleshooting controls, equipment, or processes.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Utilize PLC and HMI knowledge to optimize plant control and quality systems.
- Provide hands-on controls and troubleshooting support for day-to-day manufacturing operations.
- Analyze processes and design improvements for cost, productivity, and cycle-time reduction.
- Support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the site.
