Job summary

Blue United Sourcing LLC in Garland, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Engineer (Level 1) to support day-to-day plant operations and capital projects in a large, expanding facility. This on-site role blends hands-on plant-floor work with office-based project planning and execution.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot PLC and HMI-based controls, collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while upholding safety and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher or at least four years of engineering work experience.
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Formal training or experience implementing PLCs and/or HMIs.
Experience supporting industrial plant operations and troubleshooting controls/hardware/process issues.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Utilize PLC and HMI knowledge to optimize plant control and quality systems.
Provide hands-on controls troubleshooting for day-to-day operations.
Analyze processes and design/implement improvements.
Support planning and execution of capital projects and CI initiatives.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
Identify training needs and develop SOPs supporting CI methodologies.
Maintain established safety and quality standards.
