Job summary

Blue United Sourcing is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Engineer (Level 1) for its Garland, Texas facility. This on-site role runs Monday–Friday with an 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and an on-call rotation about every 4–5 weeks. The position blends plant-floor support (approx. 40%) with office/project work (approx. 60%).

The engineer will troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems, support operations, and contribute to capital projects and continuous improvement efforts in a large manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

Must have at least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Utilize PLC and HMI knowledge to optimize plant control and quality systems.
Provide hands-on controls and troubleshooting support for day-to-day manufacturing operations.
Analyze plant processes and design and implement improvements.
Troubleshoot hardware, controls, and process-related issues.
Support planning and execution of capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify training needs and develop training materials and SOPs.
