Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or plant environments.
• Experience as primary or lead HR professional at a facility or business unit.
• Experience supporting hourly workforces and multi-shift operations.
• Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA).
• Proven ability to manage employee relations matters including investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Ability to partner with frontline supervisors and plant leadership on people management.
• Hands-on recruiting experience for hourly and salaried roles in high-demand labor environments.
• Performance management, coaching, and employee development practices.
• Compensation, benefits, leave, attendance, and timekeeping administration.
• Maintain HR records, reporting and documentation per policy and law.
• Champion company values; foster a positive, inclusive, safety-focused environment.
• Visible plant-floor presence across shifts to build trust.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site HR leader for the facility across multiple shifts.
• Partner with plant leadership to align HR with operational goals, safety, and business performance.
• Advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, discipline, and policy interpretation.
• Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action.
• Coach supervisors on effective people management and policy application.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles in a multi-shift environment.
• Oversee onboarding and orientation to support safety, engagement, and retention.
• Administer performance management processes and employee development support.
• Support compensation practices, wage administration, leaves, attendance, and timekeeping.
• Maintain accurate HR records and reporting per policy and legal requirements.
• Champion values and foster a positive, safety-focused work environment.
• Maintain visible presence on the plant floor to build trust across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws.
