Job summary

Pella Corporation in Medley, FL is seeking a Plant Controller to act as on-site finance partner and cost accounting SME for the plant.

The role partners with Plant Leadership, Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Corporate Finance/FP&A to improve visibility to performance, strengthen cost/inventory controls, and support decision-making with accurate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years in manufacturing finance or FP&A.
• Experience partnering with operations and driving performance improvements.
• Spanish proficiency is required.
• Strong Excel modeling and data analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and cost accounting modules.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing leaders to analyze costs and performance and translate results into actions.
• Develop, maintain, and publish performance dashboards for labor, overhead, and yield.
• Own inventory accuracy, reporting, and valuation for the Medley plant.
• Coordinate year-end physical inventory and cycle counts; investigate variances.
• Support month-end close and explain variances to leadership.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Operations on standard costs and change impacts.
• Maintain controls and audit readiness for plant financial processes.
