Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to join on-site as a 1099 independent contractor. You will treat patients for a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your private practice.

Working with medically complex cases, you may perform EMGs and NCS, collaborate with medical and therapy teams, and actively manage case progression while communicating with employers.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries.
• Licensure to practice medicine in the state of jurisdiction.
• Graduate from an accredited MD or DO program.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the state of practice.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance covering on-site practice.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients during a half-day per week or biweekly schedule.
• Collaborate with medical and therapy providers and manage cases.
• Communicate with employers and coordinate return-to-work plans.
