Job summary

Concentra, Inc. seeks a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to join on-site at our San Leandro, CA location as a 1099 independent contractor. The role complements your private practice with a roughly 4-hour shift each week or biweekly.

Responsibilities include providing PM&R care, coordinating with medical and therapy teams, and supporting case management and return-to-work goals. Compensation is revenue-sharing with flexible scheduling to fit your practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the state of practice.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Current medical licensure in California.
• Medical malpractice insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site PM&R care for patients with musculoskeletal and work-related injuries.
• Support return-to-work and functional restoration through case management.
• Collaborate with medical and therapy teams and communicate with employers.
• Maintain compliance with independent contractor requirements.
