Job summary

Resilience Behavioral Health in Willowbrook, IL seeks a dedicated Peer Support Specialist to join the on-site team. The role blends client-facing peer support with light administrative duties, contributing to a safe, structured treatment environment across PHP, IOP and outpatient tracks.

You will draw on lived recovery experience to support engagement, assist with daily activities, coordinate transportation and stay compliant with regulatory standards. This is a day-shift, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Provide peer support and mentorship to clients.
• Monitor milieu and provide direct client supervision.
• Assist with daily living needs and program orientation.
• Escalate clinical concerns to the appropriate clinician when needed.
• Document client observations and daily activity logs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and mentorship to clients, sharing lived recovery experience to build trust and engagement.
• Monitor the milieu and provide direct client supervision for a safe treatment environment.
• Support daily program operations: client check-in/out, attendance tracking, and coordination between clinical and admin staff.
• Assist clients with daily living needs and general questions, escalate clinical concerns.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and in line with standards.
