Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a skilled PCB technician to perform inspection, rework and assembly duties on a range of electronic components. This on-site role involves post-assembly serialization, component insertion, and soldering of both leaded and lead-free processes.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in manufacturing and 2–3 years in Quality, with certifications such as J-Standard, IPC 610 and IPC-7711/7721. Strong teamwork and adherence to safety guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2–3 years in Quality experience.
• Knowledge of soldering tools including removal and part removal.
• Current J Standard Certification or equivalent.
• Current IPC 610 Certification.
• Current IPC-7711/7721 Certification.
• Rework experience is required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work within a team and follow policies and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform printed circuit board inspection, rework and assembly operations with varied equipment.
• Perform post-assembly serializing and component insertion.
• Verify through-hole and SMT circuitry.
• Conduct lead and lead-free soldering operations.
• Read and work from manufacturing documentation with minimal supervision.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area; follow safety procedures.
