Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking staff to operate automated insertion equipment for PCB assemblies on-site, performing maintenance and documentation tasks as required. You will work under supervision to follow procedures, read blueprints, and assist in program development for insertion machinery.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and meeting deadlines while supporting quality objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Basic communication and math skills generally associated with a high school education.
Minimum of one to two years of experience in electronics field, preferred.
Working knowledge of all necessary tools and equipment.
Knowledge of electronics components (types and values) preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate automated insertion equipment for PCB assemblies under supervision and procedures.
Maintain records for all manufactured product and assist in development of procedures.
Read blueprints, diagrams, schematics and other manufacturing documentation with supervision.
Develop auto insertion and/or pick and place machine programs and edit programs as required by ECO changes.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
Train others as needed and meet short- and long-term deadlines.
Support quality objectives and strive for continuous improvement.
