Job summary

Apex Systems is hiring for a PC Refresh/Associate Workstation position in Honolulu, Hawaii. This on-site role supports a Microsoft-based desktop environment, handling deployment, imaging, and asset management for a large healthcare client.

You will install and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and Office365, coordinate with IT staff, and prepare devices for deployment. Entry-level candidates with GED/HSD and a valid license are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Entry-level PC support experience including installation, deployment and hardware troubleshooting.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Familiarity with Windows10/11, Office365, MS Teams, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and Group Policy.
• Experience installing Windows OS, software and applications.

Responsibilities

• Support a network environment running Windows10/11 and Microsoft Office365.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Receive, move, and stage computing assets for build and imaging activities.
• Execute equipment replacement and update the asset management system.
• Perform data transfer and recovery and resolve basic network problems.
• Prepare computers for deployment by scanning assets for apps and settings.
• Interview clients to identify special considerations for pre-deployment discovery.
• Manage incoming/outgoing assets and prepare for disposition.
• Collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements and assist technicians.
