Job summary

New York Public Library in New York, NY seeks an on-site PC/LAN Support Technician Level I to assist with end-user technology, hardware/software installation, and issue resolution across multiple desks and branches.

You will join the Information Technology department, report to Ramon Cabrera, and engage with a team handling over 13,000 devices. A+ certification and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• A+ Certification.
• Experience troubleshooting PCs, printers and other equipment.
• Experience in Windows and MacOS environments.
• Demonstrated customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to end-users.
• Communicate effectively with all end-users on pending issues.
• Install new hardware/software and support IT projects.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Install/replace network equipment under supervision as needed.
• Perform related duties as required.
