Job summary

Housing Works is seeking an IT Technician Level I in New York. The role requires knowledge of software, hardware, and networking, and involves on-site end-user support to boost productivity. You will liaise with Housing Works, Xerox and Comserv/BCMone, and other vendors to maintain and improve the IT environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in computer science or related field. Professional IT certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Hardware upgrades and replacements.
• Windows refreshes.
• Asset collection and inventorying.
• Cable management and cleanup for server rooms and at end user desks.
• Escalation point for issues with managed server provider.
• Maintain e-waste inventory and disposal.
• Maintain server rooms and ventilation.
• Update technical documentation and provide user training.
