Jobot is seeking a meticulous Payroll Administrator in Gardena, CA to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. You will own all payroll processes, ensure accuracy, handle tax filings, W-2s, and year-end tasks, and maintain timekeeping across states.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in payroll, strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, and experience with state filings. This on-site permanent role includes benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years in payroll administration; manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with payroll software and payroll tax rules, levies, and withholdings.
• Strong knowledge of 940/941, W-2 processing, and year-end filings.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing and gross-to-net calculations.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• Understanding of confidentiality and data protection standards.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all payroll operations for wages, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
• Process updates for new hires, terminations, and pay-rate changes timely.
• Prepare and distribute income statements, tax forms, and enrollment forms.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Maintain payroll records per state and federal regulations.
• Process off-cycle checks, levies, child support withholdings, and garnishments.
• Handle payroll tax filings, W-2 processing, and year-end filings.
• Coordinate timekeeping with other departments and systems.
• Ensure multi-state gross-to-net calculations are compliant.
