Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in payroll or accounting.
• Certified Payroll Professional certification preferred.
• Experience processing union contract provisions and step progression.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs all activities necessary to process weekly payroll.
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
• Analyses, troubleshoots timekeeping errors, and inputs payroll data to produce accurate payroll.
• Updates, imports, approves and maintains payroll information.
• Provides employment wage verification for Market Support employees.
• Creates special reports for management as requested.
• Maintains department in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
• Provides excellent customer service.
