Neal Communities of Southwest Florida, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist in Sarasota. You will process payroll, administer benefits, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, on-site setting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of payroll and benefits experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with HRIS systems such as UKG. Excellent benefits, 401(k) matching, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in payroll, HRIS, benefits, or related analytical role.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with payroll processing, reporting, or reconciliations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit bi-weekly payroll utilizing HRIS software, ensuring accuracy of earnings and deductions.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and produce payroll/benefit reports for leadership.
• Support audits, reporting, and compliance filings related to payroll and benefits.
