Job summary

ProTransport-1, LLC is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to bridge Dispatch and Transfer Center operations at our Santa Clara facility. The role focuses on answering communications, triaging requests, and coordinating resources to ensure safe patient transport.

On-site only, with emphasis on professional customer service and accurate CAD documentation. The position requires a high school diploma and 1+ year healthcare/EMS experience, with an hourly rate of $25–$28 and a 4-on-4 schedule

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• One year or more of experience in a health care or EMS environment.
• Typing speed minimum 40 words per minute.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on site support for the Transfer Center.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills with internal and external customers.
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing.
• Develop familiarity with the Santa Clara service area and policies.
• Take direction and work independently or in a team.
• Operate computer terminal and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Use a multiline computerized phone system; document transactions in a CAD program.
• Coordinate requests with the dispatcher and transfer center staff.
• Assist case management, unit clerks, and nursing staff as needed.
• Track crew, team, and patient safety via GPS; monitor locations.
• Notify dispatcher of changes and resource needs; identify areas for improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11:00 am to 11:30 pm.
